SKYCAT PARACHUTE LAUNCHERS
Skycat FUSE@ is a patent-pending parachute launcher device for UAV platforms, both R/C multicopters and planes. It works up to 10 kilos / 22 pounds, yet weighs just a few hundred grams.
A lot of people are excited about drones.
We are excited about making them safe.

BULLET-LIKE LAUNCH TRAJECTORY
To avoid entaglement, Skycat ejects the parachute like a bullet, away from the airframe and propellers. FUSE® technology releases the piston in a fraction of a second.
Permit-free operation and easy airline travelling is possible because no explosives or CO2 gas capsules are used. The design is also servo-free.
Replacing the low-cost FUSE® is possible without any special tools, and it only takes a few minutes to repack the device for another launch.
SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT
To achieve minimum installation and maximum flight time, we designed Skycat to be the smallest, lightest and most reliable parachute system on the market, starting at just 157 grams.

QUICK LAUNCH
In an emergency, seconds matter. Skycat ejects in milliseconds, dramatically increasing the chance of safe landing.
SCALABLE AND ADAPTABLE
Skycat can be installed on almost any airframe. Multiple parachute sizes are available for small and large UAVs. Up to 3 units can be installed to get more drag and better redundancy.
NO MISHAP LAUNCHES
The deploy action is typically set to require the use of both forefingers, to avoid accidentally activating the device on the ground or during normal flight. Dual radio configurations are supported.
FAILOVER BATTERY OPTION
If you want total independence of the UAVs flight power status, a dedicated battery is supported as an option. In addition, you can optionally use multiple independent receivers, powered from same or different BECs, for added radio (launch command) channel reliability.
PATENT-PENDING DESIGN
To launch the parachute, an electric jolt is conducted through our patent-pending Skycat FUSE® trigger assembly, which mechanically and immediately releases all piston energy at once. We believe this is mechanically the fastest and most reliable miniature release mechanism there exists.
TESTED LIKE A ROCKET
Skycat parachute launcher has been tested in extreme winter, heat, mechanical and rumble conditions over hundreds of runs. We run a 24/7 test bench. Pilots use Skycat professionally. Today we can proudly say that up to now the product has worked as designed 100% of the time. That is: every time.
LET'S TALK
If you are a DIY person, manufacturer, run a show, or are just an enthusiast, you are welcome to publicize, license, co-op or co-develop UAV technology with us. We are eager to talk, so please write to our HQ.
